This intriguing freeform tiled stripe has had a long development as a carpet, and already appears as a printed silk fabric in O’Brien’s Lee Jofa collection. The design is taken from a vintage tribal carpet and returns to this medium in a complex Klimt-like rendition, woven in wool and silk, with a modernist multi-colored palette of bronze, pale teal green, cream, and gold.
