Nepalese Collection Design: DVE471C
The graphic movement of Malabar mimics the peaks and valleys encountered by designer David Easton during a trek through India. Hand-knotted in Nepal, the carpet is named for Malabar Point, a dramatic landmark that rises high above Mumbai and juts dramatically over the harbor. The perfect background for a contemporary room, the soft tonal color ways of this design are artfully expressed in a combination of wool loop background and lustrous silk cut pile.
