Martha Stewart Collection Design: MSR5424A
The distinctive artistry of an original 1920s French Art Deco silk textile has been exquisitely adapted in Seaflora to create a contemporary and highly stylized design. Alternating rows of wool loop and silk-and-wool cut pile create a ribbed background effect. The generously scaled motif, evoking images of delicate plants moving with the ebb and flow of the sea, is rendered in a blend of indigenous hand-carded wool and silk. This rug is hand-woven in Tibet.
