With its meandering bands of medallions and charming vinelike border, this versatile rug offers an intriguing modern take on Chinese Deco style. The motif is isolated from a fine 1920’s Chinese rug, here enlarged and simplified to give it a more liberal, bold feeling. The undulation of the medallion’s position adds a sense of movement and relaxation to what would previously have been a highly formal layout.

Vacuum regularly. Brushless attachment is recommended. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove.
