Rug TOB826C-Cooper Panel
Thomas Obrien Rug Collection
Freehand wavy stripes are cropped into bands in this subtle geo-texture. The linework is paneled into frames within frames for a more formal, almost Deco, feeling. The idea for this carpet comes from an etched Lucite sculpture that O’Brien made in art school. He has used variations of this pattern for a number of textiles that explore striations and stripes. A special lined border turns direction on each edge. Colorways are favorite modern neutrals: khaki bronze or light green-blue.
Construction: Hand Knotted
Fiber Content: Silk
Vacuum regularly. Brushless attachment is recommended. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove. Remove spills immediately; blot with clean cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard-to-remove stains professional rug cleaning is recommended.
