Derived from a 17th-century Italian fabric document the surprisingly modern pattern in Strolling Garden replicates outlined laid work called couching. In the original archival textile this technique involves cording applied to satin cloth; in this modern version, viscose yarns are used to outline the same lustrous pattern against Strolling Garden’s cut-pile background of New Zealand wool.

Vacuum regularly. Brushless attachment is recommended. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Do not pull loose ends; clip them with scissors to remove. Remove spills immediately; blot with clean cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard-to-remove stains professional rug cleaning is recommended.
