As a potential customer in summer 2020, I was prepared to be challenged by the high-end price tags that come with exceptional quality furniture. In the end, the challenges were minimized by the constant guidance of Melissa. Over several months, she listened well and offered patience and clarification as I agonized over making multiple choices in purchasing a sofa, bed, mattress and nightstands and area rugs. She demonstrated strengths in customer service and collaboration in resolving issues that can occur in any organization. For example, a problem arose with the delivery of my mattress. Within hours, she collaborated with managers in two states. In particular, she worked with Alen, the store manager to deliver a mattress I love! Throughout, I watched how Melissa understood all the moving parts of customer satisfaction and communicated them effectively to Alen as well as the back-end members of her team. For example, she made certain that area rug paddings were cut to the right size. Not a small detail!
