his name, Haj Jalili, became as important as the Persian weaving capital of Tabriz itself.
Now Safavieh pays tribute to the artisan whose exceptional rugs have been coveted by connoisseurs since the late 19th century.
Safavieh’s Haj Jalili collection recreates the exquisite earth-tone palette and aged patina, the richly-detailed patterns and low-sheared pile of the master’s original designs. But Haj Jalili could only produce enough to supply elite families; our rugs are fully programmed for the best 21st century homes.
